In 2010, Robin Chiang & Company (RCC) was commissioned by AECOM to develop architectural concepts for various locations in a proposed new town on the outskirts of Hangzhou, China. The new town would encompass over 1,000 acres of green development. At the center is a mountain on which a visitor’s facility would perch. Around and below it would be small visitor oriented shops and cafes and a hilltown of villas.
